Associazione LEM-Italia has started a campaign to collect oral memory in Pretoro, a village in the Maiella range, in Abruzzo (southern Italy).
The main themes that will be the subject to research are the musical tradition of the village (fanfare and individual talents), the skills of carpenters, the natural refuges that the mountain offered to the population during the Second World War and the symbolism devotion to Saint Dominic.
This campaign will continue until spring 2019. A moment of restitution is planned for May 4, 2019, in Pretoro.
