Tramontana Network’s Polish partner Akademia Profil announces the development of 27 musical workshops for children and youth organised in 9 villages of the Grodzisk Mazowiecki commune in Poland. The workshops are coordinated by two experienced musicians and educators (Maciej Kierzkowski and Marcin Zadronecki) and include traditional musical repertoire of Ukraine and rural mountain areas of Europe. The workshops are organised by Akademia Profil together with Ośrodek Kultury Gminy Grodzisk Mazowiecki (the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Cultural Centre). The final event of the workshops will be a public concert in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Admission is free for all the events.
Tramontana Network is a project dedicated to research, archiving, artistic creation and education and to the diffusion on the cultural heritage of the mountains of Europe, being co-funded by Creative Europe between 2024 and 2027.
