Audiolab has been active for over a decade as a cultural organization and its purpose is the creation of an open and participative platform to develop sound culture in today’s society. Its actions are varied such as the organization of ERTZ festival, sound laboratories at the Arteleku contemporary art center, editorial projects (seriesnegras, noise & capitalism), organization of exhibitions (Tabakalera suena, Entzungor, Zooo), investigation: ([un]common sounds, rona maubere, open sound). Conscious of the fact that working on listening involves intersecting various disciplines such as the arts, documentation, sociology or anthropology, Audiolab works in a wide cultural environment where mutualisation, peri-educational actions and experimentation are the main approaches of intervention.

Coordinator: Xabier Erkizia
