Cellino Attanasio (TE)
It was held at the Sala Convegni of the Parco dei Poeti the concluding seminar in the framework of the Live Experiment of the European project Revive in Cellino Attanasio (TE), organised and coordinated by the Associazione Itaca ETS, co-financed by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and twinned with the other project based in Abruzzo co-financed by the same programme, in the Medium Scale: Tramontana Network. In a setting of great public and institutional participation, which saw the intervention of the European partners involved and of the hosting local administrations, the entire Italian pole of Tramontana Network (Bambun aps, LEM-Italia, La leggera aps) presented in four different speeches the ongoing activities, aims and objectives of the project from its foundation to today, with a special focus on the initiatives planned in the coming months and in the implementation phase. Gianfranco Spitilli, Emanuele Di Paolo, Silvia Pallini, Renata De Rugeriis and Marco Magistrali intervened by showing documentation materials, scientific results, and participatory activities dedicated to the cultural heritage of the European mountains, emphasising the importance of the cooperative, connectivity and depth of the research carried out in a multi-year dimension and of close and participatory contact with local communities and people, in the anthropological, sociolinguistic and ethnomusicological fields. A specific section was dedicated to illustrate the ongoing activities of Gran Sasso Laga Intangible Cultural Heritage, a sub-project with a strong territorial vocation inspired by the Faro Convention and the UNESCO Conventions on Intangible Cultural Heritage, implemented within the Tramontana Network project in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga area.
More than 100 people, from the area and from different European countries, attended the speeches, thanks to the hospitality of the association Itaca ETS, a historical associate partner of Tramontana Network.
